Saw these guys open for New Monsoon in Raleigh a few years back and was impressed.

When I found out they were all from the bluegrass musician hotbed of Kalmazoo, MI I was blown away.

Then I found out they won best newcomer bluegrass band at Telluride and am still trying to get my synaptic connections straightened out.

Hey Mando, I have been commandeered to drive my mini-van to SC for Easter break - I will probably take the scenic route (Chesapeake bay bridge-tunnel) so maybe we could get together for a cup of coffee.
